The London Cabaret Club is a glamorous venue in Bloomsbury Square - the heart of London - founded by CEO Evelina Girling and Artistic Director Doni Fierro in 2013. Since then, it has become one of the most entertaining nights out in London, combining fine dining, cocktails and exciting shows that celebrate the rich heritage of British culture, taking inspiration from the nation’s past as well as its vibrant present.

For the summer, the Club has launched #ThrowbackThursdays - a musical celebration of the UK’s favourite pop hits and stars through the decades. And who doesn’t like the 90s and our favourite pop stars performing their band’s tunes?

We attended the first night of the series, featuring Blue’s Simon Webbe, But over the next weeks, Abz Love of Five, S Club 7 star Jo O’Meara, B*witched lead singer Edele Lynch, Sabrina Washington of Mis-Teeq and Atomic Kitten’s Natasha Hamilton, will entertain the audience with hits such Keep On Movin’ and Bring It All Back, to name a few.

There are different types of tickets: ‘Silver’ (from £50 per person), ‘Gold’ (90), and ‘Diamond’ (£125), to ‘Royal Diamond’ (£140) and you can find more details in the link below.

The hard-working staff is fantastic. We were looked after by our lovely waitress Victoria, and we were pleased with the service.

The atmosphere is electric. It is clear since entering the beautiful room that the crowd (a good mix) is ready to party – and to eat a delicious three-course dinner.

The entertainment during the dinner is arranged in three sections or acts combining singing (rigorously British hit songs from the 60s to today), dancing, and incredible acrobatics. The talented singers and dancers are brilliant, with beautiful costumes and choreographies.

Simon Webbe’s songs took us back in time. Blue have racked up more than 40 number one hits globally and sold 15 million records. Hits like All Rise, Too Close and Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word, are really unforgettable.

The resident DJ at the end of the night plays an entertaining, varied mix of music for dancing.

The London Cabaret Club #ThrowbackThursdays might not be a cheap night out. But it is a fabulous, fun entertaining experience that you will remember for a long time. Without a doubt, one of the best nights out in London.
